Domenico Handesigner
was born in 1978, is an Industrial Designer, and currently works for "Centrostile LACERTAE.it".
He is an authentic passionate of 70's/80's anime; for a long research of his style , he makes an authentic
graphical work style, with a mix of Technics who have a nostalgic taste.

It would have been dull to come up with a similar to original style. In 30 years I have searched for the nostalgic essence of the sensations I experienced as a child when I watched those adventures.
Mine is a little homage to the characters in those anime, in the 80’s they stole the harts of all the kid having my age and not only…
We live mostly of memories and fantasy and even if it’s hard to admit, we are strongly bound to memory traces certain feelings have left us.
Childhood memories, games, cartoons, sound tracks and voices , afternoons watching tv with a melting cookie in hand, dreams and adventures imagined, have made us what we are.

Domenico Handesigner
classe 1978, dottore in Industrial Design, lavora
attualmente come progettista designer per il
Centrostile Lacertae.
Appassionato di anime e manga anni 60/90, nella
rappresentazione delle sue opere ha sempre
ricercato uno stile grafico personale, elaborando una
“tecnica mista” dal sapore nostalgico
omaggio alla purezza essenziale e comunicativa di
quei “cartoni animati


"Sarebbe stato sicuramente banale studiarne una
caratterizzazione troppo ostentatamente
“originale”.
In 30 anni ho ricercato l’essenza nostalgica di
quelle sensazioni vissute da piccolo guardando le
loro avventure.
Il mio è un piccolo omaggio ai personaggi di
quegli anime che negli anni ottanta hanno rubato
il cuore a tutti i ragazzi della mia eta’ e non solo...
Noi viviamo soprattutto di ricordi e fantasia e
anche se alcune volte fatichiamo ad ammetterlo,
siamo fortemente legati alle tracce di memoria che
alcune sensazioni ci hanno lasciato.
I ricordi d'infanzia, i giochi, i cartoni animati, le
loro sigle e le loro voci, i pomeriggi passati davanti
alla TV con la “merendina” sciolta tra le mani, i
sogni e le avventure fantasticate, hanno fatto di
noi cio' che siamo.
